EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Gusting winds blew down a big tree on Elm Street in East Cleveland and crushed three cars.
"I think mine's totaled," Evelyn Henderson said, adding she had just gotten out of her red SUV and gone inside minutes before.
"I had just got home and come in the house when I heard the noise," she said.
Henderson hopes the power will be back on before the weekend winter storm really hits.
Meantime, in Akron, a rotten tree was also ripped up by the wind. When Fox 8 News showed up, the tree was still leaning on live power lines.
In Ashtabula, high winds brought down a portion of a brick façade atop a furniture store.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
