CLEVELAND — A statewide tornado drill was held at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday as part of Spring Severe Weather Awareness Week.
Sirens sounded at the beginning of the drill but did not indicate any danger.
It’s a good time to review tornado preparedness with your family, and the Ohio Committee for Severe Weather Awareness reminds you to DUCK.
In the event of a tornado, go down to the lowest level, get under something, cover your head and keep in shelter until the storm passes.
A more detailed disaster plan should also be established in your household.
