Thousands without power in Northeast Ohio, many in Medina County

The summer storms that moved through Northeast Ohio Friday evening left about 10,000 customers without power at one point.

Most of those — about 6,000– were in Medina County.

That’s according to FirstEnergy’s website.

At about 10:30 p.m., 6,900 outages remained.
