CLEVELAND– Indians first baseman Mike Napoli had a special moment with a fan before Monday’s game against the Texas Rangers.
During batting practice, Kat Heintzelman was holding a sign, which read, “Chemo starts tomorrow– Mike Napoli, can I get a hug and a homer?” Heintzelman, a Youngstown native, is a Tribe quarter season ticket holder.

Napoli posed for pictures and Heintzelman got her hug. The home run came in the sixth inning.

Nap’s solo shot was his 11th homer of the season.
The Indians scored just one other run against the Rangers. Tribe manager Terry Francona was ejcted during Cleveland’s 9-2 loss. The two teams play again on Tuesday at 6:10 p.m.
