CLEVELAND — Before Saturday, the Indians had lost five straight games and turned to Ubaldo Jimenez to stop the slide.

In the 2nd inning, Drew Stubbs hit a chopper to third, scoring Yan Gomes for the 1-0 Tribe lead.

The Angels tied things up in the 3rd inning. Then, a Jimenez throwing error while fielding a bunt lead to a pair of sacrifice flies in the 5th inning for the 3-1 Angels lead.

The Tribe drew closer in the 6th inning when Michael Bourn singled to center, bringing home Gomes again, the Indians trailing by only one run.

The Angels pulled away in the 8th inning with the win. The Tribe dropped their 6th straight game with a final score of 7-2.

The Indians will try to avoid the sweep Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
