CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cavaliers forward Kevin Love thanked and updated his fans on social media Thursday after undergoing shoulder surgery yesterday.

Love was injured during the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Boston Celtics after tangling with Kelly Olynyk. Olynyk received a one-game suspension.

After Love’s surgery, the Cavs said the procedure was a success and that his projected recovery time is four to six months.

Thursday morning, Love posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed with a thumbs up.

He wrote, “Tough break but I woke up feeling great this morning. Thank you everyone fro the love and support.”
