CLEVELAND, Ohio — The wet weather didn’t put a damper on the Cleveland Browns Fan Fest. Thousands packed FirstEnergy stadium where both the rain and a sense of hope filled the air.

“I’ve been a Browns fan since way back in the cardiac kids days in ’78, so we love the Browns,” said Joe Geer.

He drove in from Columbus with his family and said he’s had a blast.

He said the kids enjoyed meeting Swagger, checking out the field and getting autographs from some of the players.

“We love coming up here. It’s a lot of fun,” said Tim MCatee who brought his daughter.

He said he also was excited to watch the rookies practice.

“I’m interested in a couple of the wide receivers and seeing RG3. You know, he’s young, but I still think there’s a lot of tread left on those wheels and so I think he’s going to do some real good things for us,” he said.
