CLEVELAND– It’s a “fan-tastic” time in Cleveland.

The NBA Champion Cavaliers’ preseason action began Wednesday night at Quicken Loans Arena; while next door the Indians were preparing for the playoffs after winning the AL Central Division Title.

“I love it,” said Jareed Robinson, “It’s been so long since we’ve had winners like this.”

Robinson and his buddies are going to the first ALDS game against the Boston Red Sox at Progressive Field Thursday and stopped by the team shop  Wednesday to check out the new team T-shirts, sweatshirts and swag.

“I’m like a kid in a candy store,” said Chad Leikin, “Post season baseball in Cleveland… I couldn’t be more exited.”

The store has extended hours until 7 p.m. to handle the influx of excited fans and a number of new items from “Tribetober” rally tees to down jackets, hats and gloves

Although the weather is nice now, Karen Fox, director of merchandising for the Indians, said, “We have to make sure we have enough outerwear on hand  because in 2007 we did have very cold weather, in 1997 we had snow.”
