CLEVELAND — A Texas judge has granted Johnny Manziel’s ex-girlfriend a protective order against the troubled quarterback, according to WFAA.

Manziel is to stay away from Colleen Crowley for two years and must pay $12,000 in legal fees. He cannot be within 500 feet of her home or work either.

If he violates the order, he could face up to one year in jail and fines up to $4,000.

The news comes after we learn more about an altercation between the couple in Fort Worth, Texas over the weekend.

According to the police report, Crowley said the Cleveland Browns quarterback became aggressive towards her Saturday night at a Dallas hotel. She told officers Manziel hit her several times on the head and behaved like he was “on some kind of drugs.”

Manziel drove the pair back to Crowley’s apartment. The police report said she ran to a neighbor to get away from Manziel, while he took off on foot.

Police used a helicopter to search for Manziel, but were unable to locate him. No charges were filed in the incident.

This was not Manziel and Crowley’s first run-in with police. Avon police found the pair on the side on Interstate 90 in October. A police report said Crowley threw Manziel’s wallet out the window of his car so he pulled over to find it.

She told police Manziel pushed her head into the window and struck her. Police did find a small cut on her arm, but the former Heisman trophy winner said he was trying to keep Crowley in the vehicle.

Also on Friday, Manziel's agent Erik Burkhardt announced they were parting ways. In an interview with Dallas Morning News, the quarterback's father Paul Manziel said he believes if his son doesn't get help, he won't make it to his 24th birthday.
