Rivals Saint Ignatius, St. Edward to play at FirstEnergy Stadium

CLEVELAND– The 54th meeting of the Saint Ignatius and St. Edward high school football teams is headed for the home of the Cleveland Browns.

The longtime rivals will face off in the regular-season finale on Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Saint Ignatius leads the series, 28-24-1. The Eagles won last year’s match-up, 35-28, and went on to claim its second Division I State Championship in a row.

The last time these two teams played each on the Browns’ home field was in 1980 at Cleveland Municipal Stadium.
