CANTON, Ohio– The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton announced on Monday how it plans to refund money to those with tickets to the canceled game.
The Sunday night pre-season game between with Green Bay Packers and the Indianapolis Colts was canceled because of field conditions.
The NFL-NFLPA released the following statement:
Due to safety concerns with the condition of the playing surface in Canton, tonight’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers has been cancelled. We are very disappointed for our fans, but player safety is our primary concern, and as a result, we could not play an NFL game on this field tonight.
The Hall of Fame said tickets purchased through the hall will be refunded, but it is not responsible for tickets bought on the secondary market.
Fans who made their purchases via credit card will automatically be issued a refund. Those who paid with check will be sent a refund check. If you paid with cash, you can go to the Hall of Fame ticket office or mail the refund form with the original game tickets to: Pro Football Hall of Fame ATTN: Ticket Refund, 2121 George Halas Drive NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
