BEREA, Ohio — Cleveland Browns rookies and quarterbacks officially reported to practice in Berea on Wednesday, but it will be another few days before fans get their first look at the 2014 team.

“It’s going to start on Saturday and I can’t wait, it’s going to be a good year,” said Tom Goebel of Berea.

Fans are anxious to get their first look at the new team, including rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel.

“It’s Johnny Manziel,” said Steven Brown, of Berea. “He’s one of the best players in the class for this draft class and I feel he’ll bring excitement to the city of Cleveland.”

So what do you need to know if you’re heading to training camp?

The most important thing to remember before coming to see Manziel and the rest of the Browns is your ticket for admission.

For the first time, the Browns require fans to register online at Tickets are free, but without one you won’t get access training camp.

“There is going to be an influx because it’s a big deal with all the draft picks,” said Jason Bazilevich. “If that’s what you have to do to guarantee fans get in then I guess that’s what you have to do.”

That’s not the only thing free; so is the parking, but fans are required to park at Baldwin Wallace University, not along side streets.

Fans can make their way down Beech Street from Baldwin Wallace and right into the team’s practice facility. Gates will open one hour before each session starts.

You are allowed to bring cameras, coolers and lawn chairs to practice. Smoking is prohibited as are, weapons, animals, noisemakers and alcoholic beverages.

As we close in on training camp, the excitement grows and so do the expectations.

“8-8, one of these years we’ll be right,” said Brad Robison, of Berea.

In order to accommodate as many Browns fans as possible, those who have registered for tickets and are unable to attend practice are urged to call the team facility.
