LeBron James out for two weeks with knee, back strains

CLEVELAND- Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James will be out for the next two weeks, the team announced on New Year’s Day.

A team doctor evaluated James on Wednesday, and found he has left knee and lower back strains. He will be treated with rest and anti-inflammatories.

James, who turned 30 on Tuesday, sat out two games in a row with a sore knee. The Cavs also played without Kevin Love on New Year’s Eve, losing to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Cavs are 18-14.
