CLEVELAND (AP) — Cavaliers forward Kevin Love expects to return to the starting lineup after missing one game with back spasms.

Love sat out Cleveland’s win on Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. Following shootaround, Love said he will try to play in Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls, the first of four home games for the Cavs this week.

Love’s back bothered him in last Thursday’s win over the Lakers. He said this is the first time in his career he has had issues with his back and he doesn’t know what’s causing the problems.

Love is averaging 17.7 points and 10.3 rebounds in his first season with Cleveland.

Also, newly acquired guard Iman Shumpert has taken part in contact drills the past two days in practice and could play this week. He’s been out with a dislocated shoulder.
