CLEVELAND – The Cavaliers have officially re-signed JR Smith.

Back in August, Smith announced on social media that he was returning to the Cavaliers, but a contract had not officially been reached then.

The Cavaliers said in a release Wednesday that Smith had been re-signed, but the contract details were not available.

Both Smith and Iman Shumpert were traded to the Cavaliers in January.

Smith made the most three-pointers in the Eastern Conference since the Cavs acquired him, 131 three-pointers.
