CLEVELAND-- The Cleveland Indians are mourning the loss of longtime national anthem singer, Rocco Scotti.
In a statement released Friday night, Cleveland Indians Senior Vice President of Public Affairs Bob DiBiasio, said,
"Rocco was a unique member of the Cleveland sports scene for many years. We truly enjoyed our long relationship with him."
Scotti moved to Cleveland's Little Italy neighborhood when he was three years old and was a Collinwood High School graduate. The Indians honored him before a game in September last year, playing one of his legendary renditions of the national anthem.
Rocco Scotti was 95 years old.
