MIAMI, FL — The red-hot Tribe was looking for their ninth straight win as they faced off with one of baseball’s worst teams, the Miami Marlins.

The game went bad right out of the gate for the Indians.

In the 1st inning, Logan Morrison looped a double to left field that brought home Ed Lucas for a 1-0 Miami lead.

It was 3-0 in the 2nd when Morrison went at it again. His single to center scored Christian Yelich to extend the Marlins lead to 4-0.

Rookie right-hander Jose Fernandez dominated from there, striking out 13.

Miami shut out the Tribe 10-0. The Indians look to get back on track Saturday. The first pitch is at 7:10 p.m.
