CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland was packed Thursday night; from East Fourth Street to Progressive Field it was wall to wall people, and despite the Cavs’ loss, they are excited for the rest of the NBA Finals.
The Cavs lost Game 4 to the Warriors, 103-82.
LeBron James almost had another triple double with 20 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. But that’s only about half the points he’s been averaging in the finals.
As Golden State double-teamed James, he got others involved. But that high energy just didn’t seem to be there. The team looked tired and will need the next three days of rest as the series goes back to California.
Cavs fans, however, are still all in and have faith that the depleted Cavs can pull out another win.
“I’m not worried…because it’s just easy,” said one fan after the game. “LeBron’s the man. LeBron will handle it. Dellavedova’s gonna play like a dog. We’ve got this in the bag.”
The series shifts to Oakland on Sunday night. Game time is 8 p.m.
