Week 8 of Friday Night Touchdown means teams are locked into battles for conference titles while still keeping their eyes on the prize: a spot in the 2013 post season lineup for OHSAA playoffs.

The leading vote getter for Friday Night Touchdown Game of the Week was the Chagrin Falls at West Geauga matchup. The game features the Wolverines, who were one point away from being an unbeaten team, at 6-1 facing the 5-2 Tigers. First place in the Chagrin Valley Conference is at stake.

Another game in consideration for Game of the Week was the unbeaten Hudson Explorers visiting the Strongsville Mustangs. Hudson sits atop the Region 1 playoff point standings.

On the west side, the Rocky River Pirates, who lost a heartbreaking 56-55 game on a missed two-point conversion to Westlake last week will meet the mighty Eagles of Avon who have yet to taste defeat in seven games.
