Friday Night Touchdown Commissioner Dan Coughlin took his notepad to Ely Stadium to see an exciting finish as the Elyria Pioneers battled back from an 11-point deficit to stun Stow 22-21. Pioneer quarterback Hunter Parsh found wide receiver Brad Schneider on a 19-yard touchdown to give Elyria the lead for good. The win kept Elyria's playoff hopes alive.

Dan then traveled to North Ridgeville where the Rangers lost to the Elyria Catholic Panthers in a shootout 57-46. The Rangers were led by Demario McCall who scored six touchdowns in the losing effort breaking the Lorain County single game rushing record.
