ATLANTA – The Cavaliers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 121-108 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Cavs currently have a 3-0 series lead. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs.

After scoring 25 3-pointers in Game 2, the Cavs set a new record for the most 3s in an NBA game, regular season or playoffs.

The Cavaliers struggled in the first half of Game 3. It was a strong half for the Atlanta Hawks, who led by as many as 10 points in the second quarter.

The Cavs went into halftime trailing the Hawks 63-55.

The second half was a little better for the Cavs, although they trailed most of the game until the end of the fourth quarter.

A few huge dunks from LeBron James allowed the Cavs to take the lead with just a few minutes left.

Channing Frye was also hot. He had nearly 30 points by the end of the game.

The Cavaliers defense stepped up big in the fourth quarter, allowing them to take a bigger lead and settle down the last few minute of Game 3.

The Cavs are looking to sweep the Hawks, like they did in the Eastern Conference Finals last year. They swept the Detroit Pistons in the first series of the playoffs, giving them an entire week off before they took on the Hawks.

The Cavs are 10-0 all-time in the postseason against Atlanta.

The winner of this series will take on the winner of Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors. They’re currently tied 1-1.
