CLEVELAND- Mo Williams is back with the Cavaliers.
The guard and 12-year veteran of the NBA officially signed with Cleveland, the team announced on Friday. The terms of the deal were not released.
“We’re very excited to welcome Mo back to Cleveland and we feel he will be a great fit with our team,” Cavs general manager David Griffin said in a news release. “Mo is a proven, high-caliber playmaker and his ability to space the floor at either guard position will be essential for us.”
Williams played for the Cavs from 2008 to 2011, and was selected as a NBA All-Star in 2009. He spent the last season with Minnesota and Charlotte.
Kevin Love and Iman Shumpert re-signed with the Cavs on Thursday, and ESPN reported LeBron James will ink a two-year deal with the team.
