CLEVELAND- The Cleveland Browns preseason kicks off Thursday night at FirstEnergy Stadium against the Washington Redskins. In the meantime, workers are busy putting finishing touches on renovations around the stadium.

Fans will notice brighter concourses, new Cleveland-centric art and more local cuisine. It's part of Phase II of the $125 million renovations to the stadium.

"We wanted to give the stadium and our fans a peak at our history, at our tradition. Honor our fans, honor our history, but just give it a touch of class," Browns Vice President of Fan Experience and Marketing Kevin Griffin said. "Lighten it up, brighten it up."

New signs through the stadium showcase the franchise's history with images of the 1964 team and key moments in Browns history.

The Browns also expanded the food options, with dishes from Cleveland chefs Chris Hodgson, Rocco Whalen and Jonathon Sawyer.

"Very comfort driven. Things you'll find at my food truck, things that are kind of familiar to everybody and spun a little bit," Hodgson said. He also praised "hometown hero" Michael Symon, whose B Spot Burgers can be found at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Last year, the team installed new video boards at each end of the stadium and added seats to the lower bowl.
