CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Browns have signed tight end David Reeves and placed defensive lineman Desmond Bryant on reserve.
Bryant will miss the entire 2016 season.
He tore a pectoral muscle during a workout in early July and had surgery to repair it. He is expected to make a full recovery.
He led the Browns with 6 sacks last season.
Reeves is a rookie out of Duke. He was originally signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent.
He appeared in 53 games while at Duke with 47 receptions for 367 yards and 7 touchdowns.
