Cleveland Browns lose 24-13 to Atlanta Falcons in second preseason game

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Browns fell to the Atlanta Falcons at home in their second preseason game, 24-13.

The Falcons scored first, but the Browns didn’t wait long to tie things up.

Robert Griffin III threw a 50-yard bomb to Terrelle Pryor in the late first quarter to tie the score 7-7.

A big play came from tight end Gary Barnidge in the early second, giving the Browns a 13-7 lead.

The Browns defense made a big stop in the Falcons end zone at the end of the second quarter, allowing just a field goal. The Browns had a 13-10 lead going into the half.

The Falcons grabbed the lead again in the third, scoring a touchdown to get on top, 17-13.

The Browns couldn’t keep up in the fourth quarter though, allowing another Falcons touchdown.
