Cavs’ Irving Out with Concussion

Cavaliers Rookie Guard Kyrie Irving suffered a concussion late in Tuesday night’s game in Miami and was not available Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Cavaliers released the information moments before the team took the court against Los Angeles.

Irving was kneed in the head and experienced a headache after the game that worsened over the course of the night. During pregame activites, his situation worsened. Cavs Physician Dr. A.J. Cianflocco diagnosed him with the concussion. The team ruled him out for the game.

There is no timetable for his return. His status is day to day. Daniel Gibson returned to the lineup after missing 5 straight games with a neck infection.
