NEW ORLEANS — The Cleveland Cavaliers were looking to regain their mojo Friday night in New Orleans after a rough couple of weeks.
The Cavs had just one road win heading into Friday’s matchup.
Cleveland looked good for the majority of the game, leading 21-20 after the 1st quarter and holding a steady 51-42 lead over the Pelicans heading into the half.
The 4th quarter proved to be disastrous for the Cavaliers. New Orleans rallied against a struggling Cleveland defense, scoring 34 points for the 104-100 win.
Kyrie Irving led the team in scoring with 22 points.
The Cavs will look for a comeback win Saturday night in San Antonio.
