CLEVELAND–The Cavaliers won their first exhibition game of the preseason on Tuesday night, 99-87, over the Milwaukee Bucks at Quicken Loans Arena.

Tristan Thompson led the scoring parade with 17 points while 4 teammates were also in double figures.

Kenny Kadji had 15, while All Star Kyrie Irving chipped in with 14. Dion Waiters and C.J. Miles each had a dozen.

The Cavs took command early in the affair allowing the Bucks to shoot only 35% in the first half enroute to a 52-38 lead.

The number one pick in the NBA draft, Anthony Bennett, scored 7 points on 2 of 12 shooting. He was active on the boards, tying Anderson Varejao for team honors with 10.

The Cavs allowed Milwaukee to shoot only 37.7% for the whole game while shooting just 41.5 % themselves.

Stephen Graham led the Bucks in scoring with 15 points.
