HOUSTON– Carlos Carrasco was brilliant once again on the hill to lead the Indians to a 2-0 victory over the Astros on Wednesday night in Houston.

Carrasco went the distance  and only allowed 2 hits. He struck out 12 to establish a career high and walked only one batter. He was exceptionally efficient throwing only 98 pitches.

The Indians’ offense was supplied by Yan Gomes. He ripped a single to center field in the 4th inning to score Carlos Santana.

Gomes was at it again in the 6th inning. His triple to right field brought home Michael Brantley to make it 2-0.

Carrasco won his 8th game of the year.

The Tribe wraps up its series with the Astros Thursday night.
