SCORE UPDATE: Ravens 25, Browns 15 (4Q)
CLEVELAND — The Browns had a late start on Sunday and couldn’t pick up enough steam to overcome Baltimore.
Although Cleveland closed the gap for a while, the team eventually lost 25-15.
The Ravens moved the ball at will in the first quarter, racking up 10 first downs and 156 yards to the Browns’ 22 yards and no first downs.
The Ravens scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, an 8-yard touchdown run by Ray Rice and a 12-yard score by Benard Pierce, his first NFL touchdown.
The Browns woke-up in the second quarter, their defense forced Baltimore into their first punt of the game and Cleveland’s offense found some rhythm which led to three Phil Dawson field goals.
The second half gave Browns fans hope as the team got within two points of tying Baltimore.
But the Ravens pulled ahead again for the victory.
This is the Ravens’ tenth-straight win against Cleveland.
