CLEVELAND– The Browns are taking on the Lions on a breezy night at FirstEnergy Stadium.
The Browns first team offense is set to play most of the first half.
Second year QB Brandon Weeden has not been installed as the opening day starter but he will see a lot of snaps with the first team in the game. He is coming off a strong performance last week against the Rams.
Browns faithful will be curious to see how second-year back Trent Richardson fares. He will get a few snaps as he comes back from a shin injury. Richardson will be seeing his first ever action in the preseason in his young career.
The defense will continue with its attacking philosophy under the defensive coordinator Ray Horton.
Look for Barkevious Mingo, the first round choice to get more experience as he was very solid in week one.
