CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns linebacker D’Qwell Jackson was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance Sunday against Pittsburgh.

Jackson led the Browns with nine tackles, forced one fumble and recovered another.

Jackson led the Browns defense which held Pittsburgh to just 49-rushing yards, which was the lowest rushing total allowed by the Browns since 2003.

This is the first AFC Defensive Player of the Week award for Jackson who was named AFC Defensive Player of the Month in September of 2011.
