When talking to reporters late Tuesday afternoon, Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski said all of the guys who made the cut absolutely earned it.

“The next step is continuing to grow,” Stefanski said.

Wednesday, the team announced its practice squad picks, with kicker Cade York notably missing, as he has signed to the Tennessee Titans practice squad:

The Browns also made changes to its defense, claiming CB Kahlef Hailassie off waivers and parting ways with CB A.J. Green III on their 53-man roster.

In recent years, the team has crumbled under high expectations, only making it to the postseason once since Stefanski joined in 2020. The team ended last season at 7-10.

The Browns’ regular season officially kicks off Sunday, Sept. 10, against the Cincinnati Bengals in Cleveland at 1 p.m. Find the full schedule right here.
