Seahawks Beat 49ers, Will Play Broncos in Super Bowl

Super Bowl XLVIII will feature the Seattle Seahawks from the NFC and the Denver Broncos from the AFC.

Seattle beat the San Francisco 49ers 23-17 Sunday.

Russell Wilson completed 16 of 25 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown to lead the Seahawks to the win.

The Seahawks are aiming for their first Super Bowl title. They reached the final game in 2005 but lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Earlier in the day, Denver beat New England, 26-16.

Peyton Manning completed 32 of 43 passes for 400 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Broncos to the win.

The Broncos are making their first trip to the Super Bowl in 15 years. Quarterback Peyton Manning reaches his third Super Bowl in the last 8 years.

Again, the Broncos and the Seahawks will play Super Bowl XLVIII at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in New York. The game will be shown on FOX 8.
