CLEVELAND, Ohio — The quest for an NBA title begins tonight in Chicago, when the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Bulls in their season opener.
LeBron James says he feels good, and he’s ready to go against the Bulls. James had been limiting practice after an anti-inflammatory injection in his lower back.
The four-time MVP is driven by one thing: bringing home a title to Cleveland.
The team feels confident that if they can stay healthy, they’ll achieve the ultimate goal this season.
“As long as they try to get healthy,” James said this week. “Work your habit. Work your rhythm. I think the last few practices have been very good.”
“We’ll be on the road,” said Kevin Love. “Our traveling staff. Our traveling team…against those 20,000 fans and the Bulls, so it’s going to be a tough environment. But when that ball goes in the air, I think we’ll be ready.”
Tip-off is at 8 p.m.
