CANTON, Ohio (WJW)– The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its finalists for the special centennial class of 2020 on Thursday.

In addition to five modern-era players, the Hall will enshrine 10 seniors, three contributors and two coaches for a total of 20 new members.

Among the finalists is the late team owner Art Modell, who famously relocated the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore. While celebrated for bringing football back to Baltimore, he was easily the most-hated person in Cleveland.

Modell fired two of the greatest coaches in NFL history: the Browns first head coach Paul Brown and future Hall-of-Famer Bill Belichik.

He’s been a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the past. Modell died in 2012 at the age of 87.

The rest of the centennial finalists are:
