PENINSULA, Ohio (WJW) – If you want to eat organic and eat local, there’s a place in Peninsula with deep Ohio roots.

The PurpleBrown Farm Store sources food only from Northeast Ohio growers and carbon-neutral producers.

Sasha and Jimmy Miller started PurpleBrown farmstead in 2016, which now grows pork, eggs, mushrooms, cider apples, berries and perennial produce. Their brick-and-mortar is an offshoot of their farm stand which follows the same principles but is now located in the historic village of Pensinsula. They have more than 50 Northeast Ohio vendors offering products on-site.
