You’ve got money! How often do you hear that?
That’s the news some Amazon customers received in an email Tuesday morning.
According to Mashable, people who bought ebooks between April 1, 2010 and May 21, 2012 are entitled to a credit of $3.17 per “New York Times” bestseller and $0.73 for other books.
The money is from a settlement between some of the largest book publishers in the U.S. and state attorneys general. The case claimed that the publishers inflated the prices of certain ebooks.
