YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown college celebrated its biggest graduating class ever this weekend.

Eastern Gateway Community College had over 8,500 graduates in 2023, its largest graduating class to date. Students came from Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and more.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Star Lake Amphitheater in Pennsylvania. 900 graduates attended.

Congressman Bill Johnson acted as the commencement speaker.
