WESTERVILLE, Ohio– A woman says a peanut allergy led to a high-speed chase. According to WBNS, the woman was traveling at speeds of more than 90 mph through the streets of Westerville.
Police say even after her tires were flattened by stop sticks, she took off running. When she was caught, she told police that a peanut cookie was to blame for her erratic driving. You can hear the officer react to the claim: “I see no starting rashes on this side.”
She was cleared by medical staff and faces several charges including felony eluding.
