CLEVELAND (WJW) — A 30-year-old woman who was running in the Cleveland Marathon Sunday was taken to the hospital during the race.
According to a statement from the Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon, the woman was running the half marathon. She was treated by the University Hospitals’medical team on-site.
She was later taken to the University Hospitals main campus, according to the statement.
No further information was released at this time.
