A North Carolina woman is dead after her car veered into an oncoming truck on the highway. Investigators claim the cause of the crash was the result of her posting about Pharrell’s “Happy” song to her Facebook page, according to WGHP.
At 8:33, Courtney Ann Sanford shared this on her Facebook:
“The Happy Song makes me so HAPPY.”
Just one minute later at 8:34, police were called for the report of a crash.
Further investigation of Sanford’s Facebook page showed she was taking ‘selfies’ as she drove down the highway.
The other driver involved in the crash was not hurt.
