Woman demands sandwich, cash in attempted Rally’s robbery

AKRON, Ohio — A woman is wanted by police after being accused of demanding a sandwich and money at an Akron Rally’s drive-thru window early Friday.

According to Akron police, it happened around 4:30 a.m. at the 1345 Vernon Odom Blvd. location.

Reports state that the woman approached the drive-thru window on foot and said, “This is a burglary. You are going to make me a sandwich and give me all of your money.”

While the woman was waiting outside the window, the Rally’s clerk could see a taser in her waistband. While clerks were calling police, the suspect jumped into a waiting vehicle with several other occupants and fled the area.

The female did not get either the money or the sandwich.

The suspect is described as being between 25 and 28  years of age, standing between 5’3″ and 5’5″ tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds.

She had blonde hair and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with neon colored strings and shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Akron police.
