Woman charged with murder after baby found inside plastic bag in her desk drawer

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Michigan – A 25-year-old woman has been charged with murder, premeditated murder and child abuse after her newborn son was found inside a plastic bag inside her desk drawer.

According to WDIV, Kimberly Pappas was in court Friday where she plead not guilty.

The baby was delivered to full term on March 31 in the bathroom where she worked as a temporary employee.

Another employee called police when they saw how much blood was in the bathroom, the baby was taken to the hospital but did not survive.

The death was ruled homicide by suffocation.
