CLEVELAND — Jury selection began Monday in the trial of a woman accused of killing her 3-year-old son.

Last year, Camilia Terry pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated murder, two counts of murder, two counts of endangering children, one count of felonious assault, one count of tampering with evidence, one count of making false alarms and one count of gross abuse of a corpse.

Jury selection could take two days to a week.  The trial will last up to three weeks.

Terry was expected to appear in court Monday but no testimony will take place.

Sixty to 80 potential jurors will fill out questionnaires and will also be interviewed.

Terry reported her son, Emilliano, missing on Nov. 25, 2012, saying he was last seen at Kossuth Park in Cleveland.

His body was later found at a waste treatment facility in Oakwood Village.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office determined he died of blunt force trauma to the head, torso and extremities.

Terry’s two other children were placed with paternal relatives.
