CLEVELAND, Ohio — Thousands of FirstEnergy customers were without power Saturday night.
According to FirstEnergy’s Mark Durbin, about 4,500 total were without power in Northeast Ohio as of 10 p.m. About 2,800 of those customers were in Cuyahoga County.
Nearly 1,300 were in Cleveland.
Officials said strong winds and weather conditions were the cause of the outages. Crews were working to restore.
