Westlake woman gets big bill for fake Verizon account

WESTLAKE, Ohio– Police in Westlake are investigating after woman received a bill for a phony Verizon account.

The victim got a bill in the mail on Jan. 30 for $639. Police said four phones were purchased from a fake account created in her name.

The suspect picked up the phones from the FedEx in Middleburg Heights on Dec. 28. The person, wearing an orange baseball hat, can be seen on surveillance photos.
