AKRON, Ohio — More details are being released ahead of the ‘Welcome Home LeBron’ event in Akron Friday.

The event is being held at 7:15 p.m. Friday at InfoCision Stadium and Summa Field to help welcome LeBron James back to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The celebration is sold out, and no additional tickets are available. Free seats for the event were gone within a matter of hours after two rounds of ticket releases through Ticketmaster.

A release issued by the city of Akron Wednesday has the following tips for ticket-holders:

–Attendees should plan to arrive early, as seats are on a first-come, first-served basis.

–Gates to the event will open at 6:15 p.m.

–All attendees must have a valid ticket to enter.

Prohibited items include outside food and beverages; signs of any type; alcoholic beverages; bottles; coolers; Frisbees; laser pointers; backpacks; bags larger than 10″ x 10″ x 12″; weapons; pets; umbrellas; fireworks; and clothing with inappropriate or offensive language.

The event will focus on LeBron’s “positive impact on his hometown,” according to the release.

LeBron’s Wheels for Education program and “I Promise” campaign have reached more than 800 Akron Public School children and their families.
