KIRTLAND, Ohio (WJW) — The man Ohioans have heard from multiple times a week since the coronavirus pandemic began offered advice to a fresh set of graduates Saturday morning.

Yes, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine gave the commencement address at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland during the online ceremony, which started around 10 a.m.

“You made it,” DeWine said during his speech. “Graduating from college is a big accomplishment at anytime, but graduating from college during a once in a 100 years pandemic requires an extra measure of fortitude. You’ve been tested, and you have shown great resilience.”

You can watch the entire speech at the video above, at the 23:24 minute mark.
