Nearly everyone was brought to tears during Bindi Irwin’s finale dance on “Dancing with the Stars” Monday night.
The performance was dedicated to her father, Steve Irwin. Irwin passed away at the age of 44 back in 2006.
Bindi and partner Derek Hough paired their dance to Leona Lewis’ “Footprints in the Sand.” Near the end of the performance, they appeared to walk on sand as her father’s footprints appeared between them.
It concluded with a photo of Bindi, as a child, kissing her dad. ETOnline reports the photo came as a surprise to Bindi and was arranged by Derek.
After the dance concluded, Bindi burst into tears and nearly everyone in the audience had tears in their eyes.
The duo got a perfect score.
